the QS2590’s 200 scans-per-second linear imager scan engine provides snappy

reading performance and a mid-range depth-of- field (up to 8.0” / 20.3 cm). And the

QS2590 also reads poorly printed bar code labels quickly and easily.

Loaded with Features for Today and Tomorrow

The QS2590 is capable of reading a wide range of bar code symbologies, including

Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) and PDF417, allowing you flexibility in reading

now and in the future. It also features flash memory for easy software upgrades,

along with programming and label editing. Its enclosure is lightweight and

ergonomic, and has an available hands-free tabletop stand.

The QS2590’s Linear Imager scan engine has no moving parts and will reliably read

for years to come. It withstands 5’ / 1.5m drops to concrete and has an IP42 sealing

rating to protect it in most indoor applications. In addition, the QS2590 utilizes the

same high-quality interface cables shared by other PSC handhelds, including the

rugged Power Scan TM industrial handheld scanner. And the QS2590 is backed by

PSC’s three-year factory warranty on the scanner, and a one-year warranty on PSC
